It's that time of year, when parents get teary-eyed as their kiddos move from one milestone to another.
Yesterday, Ian and I attended CC's preschool culmination and watched as the older boys and girls moved one step closer to kindergarten. CC is in the younger class and will be "graduating" next year, but it was so fun to see both groups get together and celebrate (above).As a lot of you know, I also teach journalism at a local independent school. Today was their graduation, and they participated in one of my favorite SoCal traditions -- wearing leis during the ceremony. The flower necklaces are so cheerful and happy.
I brought mine home (faculty wore them, too) for CC. She loved it.
