Happy Earth Day!
Happy Earth Day!
In honor of the occasion we're heading to Hollywood to check out the opening day of Disneynature's "Earth" at the El Capitan. According to Disneynature, they will plant a tree for each ticket sold during the movie's opening week.

So what'd you think? Worth the time and money? I'm a bit confused. It looks a lot like a series that I saw a year or two ago on the Discovery channel. I think it was called Planet Earth. Is this the movie version?
I liked it. The photography, especially on the big screen, is amazing. Ian has seen "Planet Earth" and says a lot of the footage looks the same. Probably because both have a BBC affiliation. Did you like the series?
Yes, it was great. Even my students would talk about it regularly!
