CC is a huge Tinker Bell fan -- we've read the program, the program!, from the Disney on Ice show so many times that it's falling apart -- so she'll be excited about the newest movie coming to the El Capitan Theatre, "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue."
The movie, running Sept. 3-Sept. 19 at the El Cap, tells the story of Tinker Bell's first encounter with a human being named Lizzy. Taking place years before her more famous meeting with Wendy and the boys, Tink meets this curious little girl while on a summer visit to the meadows of England.
In addition to the movie, which will arrive on DVD Sept. 21, kids and parents can catch a glimpse of the little fairy herself. A live appearance from Tinker Bell will accompany every performance.
For the very little ones and their parents, the El Capitan is also hosting "Tiny Tot Tuesday" on Sept. 7 at 10 a.m., when tickets for adults and children will be $9 each. (Lights will also be dimmed, rather than out, and the sound will play at a reduced volume.)
