Coming Attraction: MUSE Lavender Faire
If you're a green-friendly environmentalist, this weekend you might want to expand your color palette to include lavender.
On Sunday, June 7, Malibu Bluffs Park will play host to the third annual MUSE Lavender Faire. Billing itself as a "zero waste event," the faire will focus on eco-friendly family entertainment and include live musical performances from the appropriately named Melissa Green, Debi Derryberry and Jessarae.
There will also be organic foods on hand as well as a green marketplace with eco-loving vendors such as Sustainable Kids, Dali Mama and Zen & Bunni Chocolatier. OMG, and SurfMonk! Love. That. Name.
Proceeds from the event will benefit MUSE Elementary, the nonprofit and organic-focused school in Topanga founded by Suzy Amis-Cameron and James Cameron; and MUSE Global, an international outreach program.
