"Sid the Science Kid," the PBS Kids series about a precocious preschooler produced by The Jim Henson Company and PBS, will be heading to the California Science Center on September 26 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. to visit other little scientists for "Sid the Science Kid Day."
In honor of the show's upcoming season, this free event will encourage kids to explore the Ecosystems exhibit at the California Science Center, which will be featured in the new season of "Sid the Science Kid," premiering October 4.
According to the release, families will be able to:
- See, touch, discover and explore their world at several interactive stations throughout Ecosystems, the Science Center’s newest exhibit gallery – and learn about different science concepts while journaling about the day in their Sid the Science Kid Journal
- Catch sneak-peek screenings of “Sid’s Super Kick,” a new episode in both English and Spanish, featuring live-action segments filmed at the California Science Center’s Big Lab
- Watch the world premiere of “Sid’s Fun Family Singalong,” an all-new musical show with Sid as its star
