Giveaway: L.A. County Fair Tickets

It was about this time last year when CC milked her first goat. I would like to thank the L.A. County Fair for that unique opportunity.

Well, that animal- and fried-food-friendly fun fest is coming back to the Fairplex in Pomona, and we couldn't be more excited. In fact, CC has been asking more than a few times this summer when the Fair would be back in town.

Kicking off Sept. 4 and running through Oct. 3, the L.A. County Fair will play host to a wide variety of activities.

In addition to those beloved barnyard-igans at Fairview Farms, other features will include:

* L.A. in Ice: A Frozen Exhibit -- Who doesn't want to see famous Los Angeles landmarks carved out of ice?!

* Our Body: The Universe Within -- An exhibit that offers an "inside look" at the human body.

* Esmeralda's Traveling Circus -- Flying Trapeze School. Enough said.

And, of course, the awesome food.
