Rainy day L.A.

We're getting a little too used to the rain here in Los Angeles.

Sometimes, though, it really is nice to get out and splash in the puddles -- especially if you're a 3-year-old who lives in a metropolitan desert.

So that's what CC and I did this morning. She was itching to wear her new bunny rain boots from Grandma and shield herself from the tiny droplets with her slick, over-sized rain poncho.

It's the little things, really.

That is a cute photo of a happy girl in the rain. Raining days are my favourite, my little girl and i used to do the same thing too cos we lived in the city, get a hugh umbrella and stomp into all the puddles in the rain. Except here we hav to be more careful as our rains are thunder storms with lots of lightning and thunder.

Splashing in puddles with your little girl is the best! Definitely watch out for the lightning and thunder. I think CC's only heard thunder once and never seen lightning.
